The Whaly Privacy Policy explains how we collect your personal data, with the strictest respect for your rights, and how that data is used. When we talk about “Whaly,” “we,” “our,” or “us” in this policy, we are referring to Whaly SAS.

Whaly is aligned with General Data Protection Regulation since the 24th May 2018.

Recipients of the collected data

Only our employees, the services we use, and trusted third-party applications may have access to your personal data. Government agencies may also be recipients of your personal data, exclusively to meet legal obligations.

Duration that personal data is kept

We will retain Personal Data for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. If you close your account with us, there may be residual data that will remain within our databases and other records, which will not be removed.

Right to access, oppose, rectify and delete

Your personal data will be removed under 30 days after that action.

For your information, we take all necessary precautions, as well as the appropriate organisational and technical measures, to maintain the security, integrity and confidentiality of your personal data, and in particular to prevent it from being deformed or damaged and to prevent any unauthorized third party from accessing it.

Whaly uses cookies to record log data. We use both session-based and persistent cookies (or localStorage used as a per service cookie).

Cookies are small text files sent by us to your computer and from your computer or mobile device to us each time you visit our website or use our desktop application. They are unique to your account or your browser. Session-based cookies last only while your browser is open and are automatically deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies last until you or your browser delete them or until they expire.
